TONGA CIRCA 1950'S TO 1970'S CARVED WOODEN PADDLE. Approx 164cm in length. Dark coloured timber with a clear lacquer applied. Tubular handle section with a carved figure to its to, a small section to the front of this figure is broken off. The actual paddle section has ornately carved patterns to the top area of one side and two fish designs carved to the top area of the other side. There is a small carved section to the tip of the paddle, a small section of this carving has broken off on one side. (Fish carvings side). The paddle section is 24cm wide at it's widest point.
